"You know...not every depressed person acts like it."
Roderich on the surface comes off as the prime image of well, refined young boy. He is polite Polite, socially awkward, and dedicated to his task. He knows how to act while around socialite adults, but he is awkward around people his own age. In private though, he s lonely and suffers from depression that he tries dealing with on his own. Extremely buddy-buddy with Psychemon, he considers the Digimon to be his best friend..well him and his half brother Bernard..He is also slightly unorganized. Yeah, those are a few terms to describe Roderich and his odd personality. He is quite musically talented, yet since he is used to speaking with adults he is horrible at speaking with others his age and often comes off as snooty because he doesn't speak to other teenagers. He isn't, but talking with them is hard because he honestly can't understand them. Also, he was poked fun at for his accent so he tries not talking much. He is actually a very lonely individual, but since he doesn't want to admit this he throws himself into playing music or training with Psychemon -his partner and best friend-. Roderich, though thinking Psychemon is cool kind of hates the Digimon's Mega form because it reminds Roderich that unlike the other Digi-destined he was chosen to bear the Crest of Sloth and not one of the Virtues....
In appearance
Roderich stands at about five-seven, with a slim build and very slight muscles from running and keeping in shape. He has very pale skin, an affect of not leaving the house often, that compliments his bright violet eyes. His hair is brown and slightly wavy, with slight purple highlights and he has a beauty mark just bellow his lower lip on the left side of his mouth. He is usually dressed casually at home and out of school, wearing jeans and simple shirts but while at school he wears a uniform of navy pants, blue jacket and white shirt and tan vest. While entering Digi-field he wears a long black-gray overcoat with black rimmed shades and purple/black tinted lenses. He thinks this look gives him an edgier look, but since his personality is quite the opposite of edgy it ruins the look. Also he is known for borrowing his brothers outfits, which are usually too big for him in the chest area so he ends up looking quite ridiculous.
